Our beautiful holiday cottage with a hot tub is rurally located in the Pembrokeshire countryside with sweeping views to the sea. Close to the historic market town of Cardigan the cottage is just a stone’s throw from the world renowned Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Britain’s only coastal National Park.

Our 3 bedroom, dog friendly cottage with luxury hot tub is very clean, furnished to a high standard and fully equipped with a host of welcoming touches for humans and dogs.

The cottage is ideal for couples and families who wish to be within easy reach of sandy beaches and bays, local attractions and places to eat. Guests can be happy in the knowledge they have a homely cottage with a hot tub in which to relax and unwind after a day exploring the area.

Idyllic Holiday Cottage in the Pembrokeshire Countryside

Bwthyn y Ddôl (Meadow Cottage) is the ideal coastal holiday cottage with everything you need within a 10 minute drive. The cottage is nestled in the heart of the Pembrokeshire countryside in the enviable location of being a stone’s throw from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and just under 4 miles from the nearest sandy beach.


We are just a short drive to the historic market town of Cardigan with its restored castle and variety of independent shops and array of places to eat not to mention the multi screened Theatre Mwldan. Also within the area there are ruined castles, a thriving wildlife centre and the ruins of the Abbey at St Dogmaels to name just a few. There is a good selection of pubs and restaurants locally. (ask for our recommendations when you book).


There’s a local market garden shop and farmers market in the nearby village of St Dogmaels as well as a main supermarket close by in Cardigan.

Holiday bookings are only confirmed once you have received an email from us and the deposit has been paid by acceptable and valid credit card or bank transfer.

All published rates include heating, hot water and taxes at the current rate where applicable. Please note we are not VAT registered.

Rates quoted for the cottage are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown. Should you change the number of guests, dates or nights, then the rates are subject to change.

If you have selected chargeable supplements they will be added to the total price of the booking.

The minimum stay at weekends is two nights subject to the season and availability. One night stays are at our discretion, so please contact us directly for consideration.

We currently operate a Covid-Cancellation Policy. If you are unable to travel due to Covid restrictions we will give you the opportunity to book a date in the future or we will cancel your booking and refund the full amount.

We welcome up to 3 miniature sized dogs or 2 medium – large dogs. All dogs must be house-trained, well-behaved and up to date with wormer and flea control. We make a small charge of £5 per pet per night, £7.50 for 2 miniature dogs.

Yes, we welcome children of all ages to our cottage and can provide a high chair, booster seat, travel cot, safety bed side and / or toddler step free of charge upon request.

We can sometimes be flexible on arrival and departure dates and times. If you are unable to select the dates you would like in the calendar please contact us.

Arrival time is after 4pm and departure time is by 10am. There is a late checkout option of an additional £25 to depart by noon. Please advise your requirements at the time of booking and we will confirm if it’s possible to accommodate a later check-out.

Yes, we offer a fast, free, stable Wi-Fi connection. It can be subject to slower speeds at certain times of day.

The village of St Dogmaels is just 2 miles away, here there is a post office, a well stocked local shop and a café in the ruins of the Abbey. There is a local green grocers 2 ½ miles away selling own and locally grown vegetables and produce. Cardigan is 3 miles away with regular supermarkets and a thriving high street of shops, cafes/restaurants and crafts.

We supply you with a welcome tea tray, a pint of milk, local Welsh butter and Welsh goodies. Please let s know if you have intolerances.

No, we supply clean linen and towels for your stay as well as bath mats and tea towels and oven gloves.

Thank you for asking. Treading mud through the house makes extra work for you during your stay and for our cleaners when you leave. We really appreciate that you leave your muddy boots and all muddy items at the door or in the porch.

Yes, we do for the months between and including September – April. A well-stocked log basket will be in the porch with lighters when you arrive. Outside of these months the logs are by request but still free.

Yes we do, thank you for asking. The charger is on the outside of the cottage and is accessible by a code.  You will need to bring your own manufacturer’s supplied charging cable.  Our full EV Policy can be viewed here.

Yes, we recommend that no children under 6 years of age use the hot tub. We have a safe use of the hot tub policy which will be supplied once a booking is made.
